Veterinarian Kirk Smith leads an experienced team at Smith Animal Clinic
Dr. Kirk Smith
Dr. Kirk Smith is a native of Crown Point, Indiana and has been at Smith Animal Clinic since May of 1989. Dr. Smith grew up in the veterinary profession with his father and uncle and knew at a very early age that this was his calling. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association, a past president of the Calumet Area Veterinary Medical Association and a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners.
After graduation from Culver Military Academy, Dr. Smith earned a degree in Animal Sciences from Purdue University in 1983. In his spare time he enjoys water sports, history and spending time with his family and five dogs, one cat and nine horses.
